Description

Rivet nuts are used to fasten metric thread into thin-walled materials. They are commonly used in applications where there is limited or no access to the backside of the material. The grooved body of the rivet nut provides increased resistance to turning the nut and allows for a solid threaded attachment point in materials that are too thin to cut threads.
